Black Powder Coat, Original Chrome Grill
High-Impedance Harmonica Microphone
Vintage 1969 Shure Controlled Magnetic
99A86 IL element
Fully Tested and Working
I’ve taken a 1940’s Astatic Model 200, chopped and custom-machined it, and added a Switchcraft 5/8” screw-on connector. The entire mic is newly rewired, with a new element gasket. The vintage Shure CM element hails from from 1969. I’ve also added a windscreen behind the grill featuring marine-grade stainless steel mesh and white nylon cloth.
These Astatic 200’s are very light and easy to cup. This one has good, hot tone. And it’s cool looking too.
Better than any of the new harp mics available today. Ready to gig!
The mic features:
– Strong 1969 Shure 99A86 IL element
– Original Chrome Grill and screws
– Switchcraft 5/8” screw-on connector
– 1002 Ohms
– Custom stainless steel mesh
– Fresh Black Powder coat
Excellent cosmetic condition.
