A rough Astatic JT-30 in fair cosmetic condition, with a small scratches, discoloration of the shell and grill. It’s newly rewired, with a Switchcraft cable connector, new element gasket, premium volume control, and an excellent Controlled-magnetic element from 1974. I’ve also added a dual windscreen behind the grill featuring marine-grade stainless steel mesh and black nylon cloth.

Tone-wise, this mic is crisp with good lows and great distortion. Better than any of the new harp mics available today.
This CM element sound is what’s important, and it howls!
