Fully Tested and Working

A beautiful Astatic JT-30 in excellent cosmetic condition, with a few small scratches. It’s newly rewired, with a Switchcraft cable connector, new element gasket, premium volume control, and a really great-sounding Controlled-magnetic element from 1959. I’ve also added a dual windscreen behind the grill featuring marine-grade stainless steel mesh and black nylon cloth.

Tone-wise, this mic is crisp with good lows and great distortion. Better than any of the new harp mics available today.
This CM element sound is what’s important, and it howls!

The mic features:
– Strong 1959 Shure 99H86 907 element
– Original Glossy Grey Marbled Paint
– Switchcraft 5/8” screw-on connector
– 1027 Ohms, Strong element
– Integrated Volume Control
– Custom stainless steel mesh

Good cosmetic condition and a few nicks and scuffs on the grill.

The mic has been tested on a Mission Chicago 30 watt amp, and on a lovely little Kalamazoo Model Two amp. It performs great on both.
