Fully Tested and Working

A beautiful Astatic Biscuit in excellent cosmetic condition, with a few small scratches. It's newly rewired, with a Switchcraft cable connector, and a great-sounding Shure CM element from 1963.

Tone-wise, this mic is loud, hot and honky and great distortion hen cupped. This Shure controlled magnetic element is an early 1960's in perfect working condition, and it howls!

The mic features:
– 1963 Shure Element
– Original Glossy Brown Paint
– Switchcraft 5/8” screw-on connector
– Original Chrome Grill

Good cosmetic condition and a few nicks and scuffs on the grill.

The mic has been tested on a Mission Chicago 30 watt amp, and on a lovely little Kalamazoo Model Two amp. It performs great on both.
