A beautiful Astatic JT-30 in excellent cosmetic condition, with a few small scratches. It’s newly rewired, with a Switchcraft cable connector, new element gasket, premium volume control, and a really great-sounding Controlled-magnetic element from 1971. I’ve also added a dual windscreen behind the grill featuring marine-grade stainless steel mesh and black nylon cloth.

Tone-wise, this mic is crisp with good lows and great distortion. Better than any of the new harp mics available today.
This CM element sound is what’s important, and it howls!
