Fully Tested and Working

This is a very nice original Shure 520D that’s been powder-coated, newly rewired, with a new Switchcraft cable connector, premium volume control knob, new element gasket, and a lovely vintage element from 1955. I’ve also added a dual windscreen behind the grill featuring marine-grade stainless steel mesh and black nylon cloth.

Tone-wise, this mic has great bottom and excellent mids. I’d describe the tone as “crunchy.” Better than any of the new harp mics available today. A true ready-to-gig microphone

The mic features:
– Strong 1955 Shure 99H86 501 element
– Controlled-reluctance
– Integrated Volume Control
– Switchcraft 5/8” screw-on connector
– 1079 Ohms
– Custom stainless steel mesh
– Fresh metallic Powder Coat

Excellent cosmetic condition, but a few nicks and scuffs, and the tone is gritty and awesome.
