Blows Me Away wood harmonica mics are hand built from a single block of wood by Greg Heumann. You can find out more about these mics by visiting www.blowsmeaway.com. It’s a real work of art. This one was turned from Cocobolo wood. Inside is the Heumann Element with an exceptionally strong, full-bodied tone. So many pros use this mic and swear by it, including Ronnie Shellist and Charlie Musselwhite. I took this mic in trade, and honestly I don’t know why the owner gave it up.

Tone-wise, this mic is strong and hot, with great distortion when tightly cupped. And this mic is only 4 ounces! The stealth volume control, nearly invisible on the back of the shell, is a premium update.
