Vintage 1957 Shure Controlled Reluctance

Fully Tested and Working
I’ve taken a 1940’s Astatic Model 200, coated and customized it with a Vishay volume control The entire mic is newly rewired, with a new element gasket. The vintage Shure CR element hails from from 1957. I’ve also added a windscreen behind the grill featuring marine-grade stainless steel mesh and white nylon cloth.
This unique Astatic 200 has a built-in 1/4” microphone jack so you can use any standard guitar cord to plug in to your amp. This mic has good, hot tone. And it’s cool looking too.
Better than any of the new harp mics available today. Ready to gig!
The mic features:
– Strong 1957 Shure 99G86 721 element
– White Label Controlled-Reluctance
– Powdercoated Grill
– Switchcraft 1/4” cable connector
– Custom stainless steel mesh
– Fresh Powder coat
