High-Impedance Harmonica Microphone
Vintage 1973 Shure Controlled Magnetic Element
99A86 MI element
Fully Tested and Working
This is a chopped, milled, and powder coated bullet mic from a classic Turner desk microphone. It’s been beheaded, and milled to shorten the center mohawk rib on the top. This makes the mic a nice small diameter, easy-to-hold, and light.
I’ve added a Switchcraft 5/8” screw-on connector and a volume control for on-stage flexibility. This mic weighs 10 ounces, and has a nice powder coated shell and white grill. An original Black Realistic wind screen adds a great finished look.
The mic features:
– Strong 1973 Shure 99A86 JD element
– All new Powder Coat
– Premium Volume Control Knob
– Switchcraft 5/8” screw-on connector
– All new wiring
– 1036 Ohms Hot!
– (Cable Not Included)
Excellent cosmetic condition.
The mic has been tested on a Mission Chicago 30 watt amp, and on a lovely little Kalamazoo Model Two amp. It performs great on both.
