High-Impedance Harmonica Microphone
Vintage 1971 Shure Controlled Magnetic
99A86 KK element
Fully Tested and Working
This is a unique custom modified Electrovoice EV-905 blues microphone. It’s a tight fit to get a Shure element inside this body. If you like a small microphone to hold, this is your mic. It’s only 1 1/2” wide, far thinner than most bullet mics.
Newly rewired, with a new element gasket, and a lovely vintage element from 1971. I’ve added marine-grade stainless screen with white polyester fabric behind the beefy grill slots.
This mic has great volume, and it’s a small, easy-to-cup shape. Excellent tone. Better than any of the new harp mics available today.
The mic features:
– Strong 1971 Shure 99A86 KK element
– Controlled-magnetic
– Original Electrovoice Tin Tag
– Switchcraft 5/8” screw-on jack
– 1047 Ohms
– Brushed Chrome
– Good cosmetic condition
This mic has seen the road, with a number of scratches overall, but no serious dents. The mic has been fully tested through two types of harp amps, and performs just great.
