Gloss Black Powder Coat, Silver Powder Grill
High-Impedance Harmonica Microphone
Vintage Shure Controlled Magnetic
99A86 GD element
Fully Tested and Working
I’ve taken a 1940’s Astatic Model 200, chopped and custom-machined it, and added a Switchcraft 5/8” screw-on connector, and new element gasket. The vintage 1967 Shure CM element is exceptionally hot. Great distortion. I’ve also added a windscreen behind the grill featuring marine-grade stainless steel mesh and white nylon cloth.
These Astatic 200’s are very light and easy to cup. This one has good, hot tone. And it’s cool looking too.
Better than any of the new harp mics available today. Ready to gig!
The mic features:
– Strong July 1967 Shure 99A86 GD element
– Silver Powder Coat Grill
– Switchcraft 5/8” screw-on connector
– 1002 Ohms
– Custom marine-grade stainless steel mesh
– Fresh Black Powder coat
Excellent cosmetic condition.
