This Blues Blaster, Hohner’s version of the vintage JT-30 mic, has a great, strong, Astatic MC151 element inside. This is a great improvement to the stock crystal that usually comes with the BB. Nice strong tone. Breaks up nicely on the lows when cupped, Bright and crisp when open.

The XLR cable is aftermarket, better quality than the stock Hohner cable, which tends to be rather fragile. The volume control is smooth, and easy to grab with the knurled knob. Great cosmetic condition, but missing the Hohner sticker on the connector. Please look carefully at the photographs.

The mic has been tested on a Mission Chicago 30 watt amp, and on a lovely little Kalamazoo Model Two amp. It performs great on both.
