This is a modified Shure 520dx microphone body with a hot-sounding Shure Controlled-Magnetic element. This mic has a crunchy, high-powered, high-volume sound. This is ready to plug in and hit the stage.

The original shell is from a 520dx, the internal volume control has been removed and plugged. A Switchcraft screw-on connector has been added, and anchored with three set screws (see photo.) Not the most beautiful modification, but it works fine.

Also Included in the auction is an external Switchcraft 329 volume control. It is detachable. This control is a little dinged up, but still works fine.
