Fully Tested and Working

This is a chopped, milled, and powder coated bullet mic head variously manufactured for Pearce Simpson, GC Elecronics, Sherwood and Radio Shack. The shell is noteworthy for it’s distinctive ribs. These might make the mic easier to hold as well. Anyway, it’s cool looking.

I’ve added a Switchcraft 5/8” screw-on connector and a volume control for on-stage flexibility. This shell weighs about the same as a Shure Green Bullet, and has a nice chrome grille case and Sherwood badge. Additionally it has a premium aluminum volume control knob for good looks.

Tone-wise, this mic is hot and has great controlled distortion when cupped, and clear tone when open. This 99S556 CM element sound is what’s important, and it howls!

The mic features:
– Very Hot 1967 Shure 99S556 element
– All new Powder Coat
– Premium Volume Control and Knob
– Switchcraft 5/8” screw-on connector
– 1294 Ohms, Strong element
– All new wiring

Good cosmetic condition, but a few nicks and scuffs on the grill, and the tone is gritty and awesome.

The mic has been tested on a Mission Chicago 30 watt amp, and on a lovely little Kalamazoo Model Two amp. It performs great on both.
