Good Brushed Chrome, Working Element
Strong Tone!
1940’s High-Impedance Harmonica Microphone
Vintage Crystal Element
Fully Tested and Working
Here’s a lovely vintage Turner CX in brushed chrome. The chrome does have some pitting, as seen in the photographs, but I suppose that’s expected after 70 years.
Though I don’t know the make, and didn’t want to pry it out, this element is strong, with nice bass response when tightly cupped, and crisp highs wide open. Ready to gig.
The 5/8” connector is spring-loaded, which is pretty rare, and works well. The riveted tin tag on the rear of the base is worn, all the paint is missing, just the stamped model number is visible
There are scuffs and scratches to the original brushed-chrome shell exterior, but still looks cool as hell.
