Vintage 1960’s Shure Uniplex 245 Ceramic Harp Mic

Vintage Stick Microphone
Little Walter, Jimmy Reed Tone!
High-Impedance Harmonica Microphone
Ceramic Element
Fully Tested and Working

This mic has a unique tone for harp. Similar to the clean tone found on many Little Walter and Jimmy Reed recordings. Similar to the crystal Shure 777, the Shure Uniplex 245 was manufactured between 1962 and 1970, and touted as an excellent unidirectional mic that effectively removed the background noise from the recording environment.

Tone-wise, this mic has thinner bass notes, light breakup when cupped, and execellent high notes with a little twang. Still better than any of the new harp mics available today. Ready to gig!
