This is an excellent, original green Shure 520 with original tag, It has been rewired, with a Switchcraft screw-on cable connector, original element gasket with tightening ring, and a great-sounding Controlled-Magnetic element from 1964.

The cosmetics of this microphone are really, really good. The grill is beautiful brushed chrome with only the most minor imperfections. The original shure Green Bullet paint finish is in very good condition, with some small scratches, but no flaking or dents. The original 520 tag from Evanston is in excellent condition.

Tone-wise, this mic is bright, and crunchy, as you’d expect from a mid-60s 99B86 element. Better than any of the new harp mics available today.
