Vintage 1950s Mid Century Modern Turner 22D Blues Harp Microphone
– Reasonably-good condition. All exterior intact.
– Brushed-chrome finish.
– Fully tested and working.
– Screw-on cable connector
– Strong and hot output
Out of my collection of misfits comes this working Turner 22D funky blues harp microphone. Looks like this mic was produced in the mid 1940s or 1950s. It’s got a little tarnished patina to the brushed chrome exterior, but looks like it would shine right up.
This mic has a very hot element, with strong output. I don’t recognize the make and model of the element. It’s an A.E.CO D5189A model. A previous owner replaced the original Turner element, and used masking tape as a gasket. Gotta say, though, it fits just right.
