Fat Tone! Easy Cupping!
High-Impedance Harmonica Microphone
Strong, loud output
Fully Tested and Working
First introduced by Voice of Music in 1967, the Sonotone DM-10, with it’s distinctive shape and chrome screen, is a favorite for harp players who like light, compact stick mics. This mic has a unique tone for harp. Similar to the tone found on many Little Walter and Jimmy Reed recordings. This Sonotone (Voice of Music) is light, and super easy to hold. It’s got an original 7 foot long 1/4” guitar cord so you can use any standard guitar cord to hook up in your amp.
Tone-wise, this mic is pretty dirty, with great breakup when cupped, and excellent high notes. It’s also hot and bright as hell.
